Empire: modern definition

Abstract

This article discusses the modern definition of "Empire". Since 1990 in the USA formed a new historical sector - "A New History of Empire". At present, domestic and foreign scientific research definition of empire, the history of the empire, imperiology  problem is actual, and it is one of the most difficult problems. Based on the analysis of works of "new history of the empire" of domestic and foreign researchers, was introduced  the best definition of this term. Because the "empire" difficult concepts, scientists taking  the  basis the specific characteristics and traits of this concept, trying to discover the essence of the "empire"

In the framework of the "New Imperial History" in the modern period formed a new concept of the term Empire, allowing to show multilateralism of the system of political organization. Because in Kazakhstan, these  research  trends  are relatively new, it is important to know the origin of the empire. Thus, the authors emphasize the need to clear understanding of the term "empire"
