Adaptation of the Turkic tribes in Central Asia to the environment

Abstract

This article covers the different aspects of the research specificity of interaction of the Turkic tribes of Central Asia in the middle Ages with the natural and social environment. The analysis of adaptive changes in life and settlement systems, demographic characteristics and anthropological features of which occurred in the V-XV century in the life of the Turkic tribes in Central Asia. Also were addressed the issues of interaction with the environment of the ancient Turks, and their dependence on natural conditions toponymy, processes, continuity of historical traditions in the difficult conditions of strong anthropogenic pressure on the environment. Analyzes the nomads of Central Asia, as one geographic integrity inhabited by diverse peoples, with different economic skills, religion, social institutions and mores. According to the author, a greater understanding of the nature of the Turkic tribes contribute to the study of the relationship between people and nature, where people adaptation to nature in Central Asia plays an important role.
