Kazakh intellectuals views on the problems of school education
Abstract
This article considers the views of the Kazakh intelligentsia of the second half of XIX – the beginning of XX centuries on one of the essential problems–peculiarity of teaching in schools of Kazakhstan. Moreover analyzed compulsory teaching of the mother tongue in primary schools. Preference learning Russian language could be detriment not only to the native language, but also the spiritual culture of the Kazakh people, and these points can be seen by considering the works of Kazakh intelligentsia. In the article is shown the importance of learning the basics of Islamin new methods schools and the teaching of different subjects depending on the age of the pupils. In article the authors examine the Kazakh intelligentsia ideas and make conclusions about their activities in solving important issues of the discussing period.
