Abstract

This article is dedicated to the historiography of the problem on rela-tions between the Great Britain and India, and influencing their histori-cal memory colony/imperia to them. When India gained independence, the historical experience of the formation of the new nature of relation-ship among two countries acquire a particular relevance in modern stage. Changes in the geopolitical development in the era of globalization are the reasons of that. For the study of this issue the authors try to make a com-parative analysis of the Soviet, British, Indian and Kazakhstani historiogra-phy, and on what positions and theories were used to enlighten the issue
