History and development of the national education system in the Turkestan autonomous soviet socialist republic

Abstract

The article consideredhistory of formation and development of the national educationsystem in the Turkestan ASSR.From the first days in the Turkestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic passed the struggle for the elimination of illiteracy, opened general educationalschools, courses, clubs, bookstores.Formed network of cultural educational institution. The Council of People’s Commissars of the Turkestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic September 17, 1920 issued a «Decree on the elimination of illiteracy among the population of the Turkestan Republic.»From the very first years of Soviet power for all local school began to act to eliminate illiteracy. And also deals with the problems and difficulties of the work carried out educational work in schools and higher education institutions in Zhetisu and Syrdarya regions of the Turkestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.In August of 1920 to discuss the construction of the school was called the first congress of teachers in Tashkent.
