Innovations in Kazakhstan: Achievements and Challenges

Abstract

On the basis of extensive factual material of recent years it’s shown how the innovative strategy is being implemented in Kazakhstan. The analysis of the existing problems in the sphere of innovations and their solutions are given in the article. The data on the implementation of innovative projects in the industry and the space industry in Kazakhstan are provided. There’s emphasized the need to commercialize innovations, stimulate innovative activity of business and science, create an innovative system in the Republic through the integration of science, education and industry, providing tax incentives for innovative companies and venture capital funds.
