Despite the crisis: transformation of Kazakhstani economy in the global crisis

Abstract

On the basis of extensive factual material it’s shown how there’s go- ing on modernization and transformation of the national economy through the implementation of two state programs of forced industrial innovative development (2010-2014 and 2015-2019). The strategic goal for Kazakh- stan is to join the top 30 most developed countries of the world. There’re shown the goals, objectives, indicative plans for both programs, as well  as the results of the First five-year plan, an analysis of errors in the imple- mentation of SPFIID-1. The article contents the data on transformation and modernization of the national economy by increasing competitiveness and productivity, development of manufacturing industries and export-orient- ed sector in the hard conditions of the global economic crisis.
