Historiographer-orientalist Beisembiev T.K. (devoted to the 60th anniversary of his birth)

Abstract

The article is devoted to the 60th anniversary of the famous historian
scientist­orientalist Timur Kasymovich Beysembieva – the world’s largest
specialist of the Kokand khanate (1709­1876). Beysembiev is author of
over than 200 scientific publications. He is the first kazakh orientalist who
was able to rise for the level of world science (had written 2 books in
English and 4 in Russian languages, received international recognition),
without leaving his Motherland.
