Questions оf еnvironmental history of Kazakhstan amid the global research

Abstract

The article considers the questions of environmental history which have been the subject of several studies in the domestic and foreign science. The urgency of the research is determined, on the one hand, by searching and formation of new theoretical and conceptual approaches to the history studying. On the other hand, the opportunity to use the tools of the science and the humanities for expanding the source base of the history of Kazakhstan. The author tries to make an analytical review of some studies on the environmental history. During the study was found that the main object of study of this direction is the interlinkage: society – environment. In general, studies of environmental history in Kazakhstan identified the relation of economics and politics in the strategy of nature management, identified the role of public and governmental organizations in protecting the environment and health of public.
