The value of programs in the processing of the fund in museums

Abstract

This article examines the process of computerization in museums. The authors analyzed the main stages of the infroduction of the newest technologies info museum affairs.Digital heritage – a form of cultural heritage enshrined in the «Charter on the Preservation of the Digital Heritage», adopted at the 32nd session of the General Conference of UNESCO (2003). The digital heritage is a collection of electronic resources include text documents, databases, still and moving images, audio, graphics, software and web pages. The «Museolog» was introduced in the museums of Central Asia as a database of museum collections. The purpose of the program implementation museology conservation and use of heritage, maintaining cultural and educational activities, cataloging cultural objects and everyday life.
