Khan labels are in the context of study of administratively-political device of the medieval states

Abstract

In the article the questions of study of khan labels are examined as sources containing major information on political, socio-economic development of the medieval states. In the record keeping practices of medieval khanate labels were the main type of official acts sources. In this regard, based on analysis of the destination labels can reveal the full list of administrative officials medieval states, to make general conclusions about the political structure medieval khanates, to highlight the evolution of record keeping documentation. Labels will help to light up many phenomena characteristic for medieval society, investigate the evolution of different feudal institutes, since the moment of their origin up to disappearance. They contain rich material on the study of conformities to law of socio-political processes of row of the medieval states of Middle Asia, including the Kazakh khanate.
