Modern concept of «sacred» and reconstruction of its contexts in the materials of Botai culture

Abstract

Article is devoted to the problems of reconstruction for sacral contexts of Botai culture carriers of North Kazakhstan in eneolit period. The years of researches have showed significance of Botai culture in world’s history and allow us to determine individual pattern of this phenomenon. Experts interested not only on external features of sacral object, but in internal features too, that represents its informative code, in which monument is being considered with aggregate historical past in the cultural space.
Botai’s settlement is included in state list of sacral monuments of Kazakhstan. In light of active interest for history and culture of the countrys people there were conducted scientific researches and mass scientific and educational activities on settlement of Botai. In order to highlight the feature of sacral space in Botai’s archeological and ecological niche, there were developed and chosen relevant resources. Botai’s heritage might become ideological foundation of Kazakh society.
