Abstract

The article examines trade relations in the Eurasian steppes in the era of the Golden Horde. At the same time, within the framework of the history of the Golden Horde, factors that contributed to the development and decline of trade relations in the Eurasian steppes are analyzed. The beginning of the article describes the Mongol invasion and its impact on the trading system, the establishment of Mongolian ulus control over trade routes of Eurasia. In the main part of the article, authors made an analysis of economic policies, the main trends and periods of trade of the Golden Horde in the Eurasian steppes. In the final part, the problems and reasons for the fall of trade relations are analyzed from the scientific point of view by the end of the 14th century. Medieval sources, works and views of domestic and foreign researchers that are used in the writing of the article have been scientifically proscribed.
