Social and political activity state and public figure Oraz Dzhandosov

Abstract

The article is devoted to public and political activities of prominent state and public figure Uraza Dzhandosov in the 20-30’s. XX century. Uraz Dzhandosov was a well-known figure not only in Kazakhstan, but also in the regions of the whole Central Asia. UrazDzhandosov was not only a talented statesman, but also an outstanding orator, publicist, engaged in research on the socio-economic situation of Kazakhstan and the entire Turkestan district, a remarkable expert on agrarian and economic and national issues. Uraz Dzhandosov 1920-1930 worked as a people’s commissar of education of Kazakhstan and in the spheres of culture. He contributed to the opening of the first Kazakh State University, Agricultural and Zoo Veterinary Institutes. Another problem that U. Dzhandosov was interested in – certain issues on the history of Kazakhstan, as the voluntary accession of Kazakhstan to Russia, the problems of historical demography, the national liberation movement of the Kazakh people, certain aspects of the socio-political and economic situation of Kazakh villages and villages at 20-30 years. etc. Uraz Dzhandosov, also seriously engaged in issues like, the organization and implementation of the land reform in Zhetysu, his multi-lateral activities in the formulation and resolution of issues of interethnic relations in the Zhetysu region.
