Abstract

The article represents scientific conclusions about historical thought and historical knowledge as the main concepts in historiography, the concept of the moving role of historical thought in the process of the constant development of historical science. The objectivity of the appearance and form of the preservation of the work “The Gift of Truth” as a historical source in the process of development of the national historical thought is considered. Brief information about the biography of Ahmed Iugineki is given. The author reveals the content of the essay, analyzes the main ideas. Ahmed’s thoughts are determined on the usefulness of knowledge and the danger of ignorance, the role and importance of language, as well as the ethical norms associated with it.
