From the history of the formation of the scientific direction of «oral history»

Abstract

The article considers the main stages and factors of development of «oral history» as a field of histori- cal science, analysis of the international practice of oral history as a research method, the special features of the formation of new historical sources for the reconstruction true history. Also in this article were considered features of functioning as a scientific discipline in the academic sphere, as an international movement in historical studies of the problems of democratization of history.
