RAIYMBEK BATYR – A HISTORICAL FIGURE

Abstract

The article discusses the exploits of Raimbek Batyr, who completed the liberation struggle in the eastern region of the Zhetysu region in the last years of era of the «Aktaban Shubyryndy, Alkakol Sulama». Raiymbek is a hero who is supreme in the interests of the tribe who have fought all their lives for the general Kazakh liberation. His battle is to liberate his land and his people, who were suffering from the Kalmyks. This article also discusses the sources of K. Sauranbayev about the grandfather of the warrior Hangeldi, his loyal companions: Bakai Batyr, Aralbai Batyr, Kopai Batyr, Satay Batyr, Iryseldi Batyr.
